Deer Park Colorguard

The Deer Park Color Guard is part of the amazing DPHS Band Organization. During the Fall Semester, the Color Guard performs with the talented musicians of the Deer Park Marching Band. The color guards role within the marching ensemble is to visually represent the music. They are the primary “story-tellers” of the group. The guard performs with stylized dancing and spinning various pieces of equipment.

In the Spring Semester, the color guard moves indoor and competes as its own entity to recorded music. This activity is known as Winter Guard. Deer Park is proud to feature our Varsity and Junior Varsity Winter Guard Program through the Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) and Winter Guard International (WGI). The Winter Season spans from December through April. In addition to marching band and winter guard competitions. The color guard members will also perform at football games, various pep rallies, parades, and other school showcases throughout.
